MAVIN Records Welcomes New Signee, Lifesize Teddy
Nigerian entertainment giant, MAVIN Records, has officially welcomed its newest talent, Lifesize Teddy, a versatile 23-year-old rapper, poet, and vocalist. Don Jazzy, the Founder and CEO of MAVIN Records, expressed his enthusiasm about this exciting addition, sharing his anticipation for the artist's journey ahead.
In a press release, Don Jazzy mentioned, "Sharing Lifesize Teddy's talent with the world is a beautiful moment. Her transformation into the artist she is today has been a journey of dedication and training. I'm thrilled about what lies ahead for her."
Banigo Apiafi Treasure, known as Lifesize Teddy, emerged from the vibrant tapestry of Bonny Island, Rivers State. She started writing music as early as the age of nine. She was rapping at the age of 12 after being influenced by Kanye West’s album ‘College Dropout’.
Lifesize Teddy's journey began with an Instagram interaction with LadiPoe, leading to her opening for him at a concert in 2018. This connection eventually led her to MAVIN Records in 2020, where she underwent extensive development through their artist development academy. She honed her skills in areas ranging from live performances to media coaching, becoming the label's first female rapper.

MAVIN Records is set to unveil Lifesize Teddy with a self-titled debut EP. This five-track project offers a diverse showcase of Lifesize Teddy's talents, with tracks like 'Hypnotic' (produced by Andre Vibez) and 'John Wick' anticipated to be standout records.
